PVL Co-Director Dr. Dotan Haim and his colleagues receive $300,000 grant to assess PAMANA. PVL students currently assisting this team in designing its first survey instrument.

The research team of Dotan Haim (Dartmouth), Renard Sexton (Princeton), and Yuhki Tajima (Georgetown) recently received a $300,000 grant from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Philippine National Economic Development Agency (NEDA) to evaluate the government’s flagship program to expand development services to conflict affected areas (PAMANA). The evaluation will be carried out over a 6-month period with the assistance of members of the Political Violence Lab and will be used to instruct future peacebuilding efforts by the Philippine government and the newly reformulated Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
